19 Billy sat at the table, unable to eat his breakfast. His cor n  akes went soggy in the bowl. ‘Mum!’ he suddenly blurted out. ‘There’ s a monster in my wardrobe who wants me to fetch some cat poo or he’ll eat me!’ Mum laughed, of course. Then she got cross, saying this nonsense would make them late for school. In the end, she agreed to come upstairs and have a look. ‘There!’ Billy exclaimed, throwing open the wardrobe door and pointing at the words. But they were GONE! ‘Get dressed right this instant, Billy Peters,’ ordered Mum, marching out the door. ‘I don’ t want to hear another word about this!’
